Website Chat: talk to your website visitors in the same inbox

Add a chat widget to your website with one line of code. Visitor chats arrive in the same inbox as WhatsApp, and the AI agent can answer them.

Many customers find you on your website before they ever message you on WhatsApp. Until now, Lynkist could not talk to them there.

A chat widget for your website

Go to Channels → Website Chat, design the widget — colours, greeting, the form, your hours — and watch the live preview while you edit. Then add one line of code to your website. There are step-by-step guides for HTML, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow and Google Tag Manager, and a hosted chat link with a QR code if you have no website.

The same inbox

Website chats arrive in the same inbox as your WhatsApp chats, and your team answers them in the same way. The panel next to a chat shows what you know about the visitor.

The AI agent answers here too

The AI agent can answer website visitors. Use the same agent as one of your WhatsApp numbers, or give the widget its own. You can also train it from the pages of your website.

Replies by email

A visitor can leave and confirm their email address. If they close the page before your team replies, the reply reaches them by email after a few minutes.

Plans

Every plan includes a Website Chat widget. A business without a WhatsApp number can use the Web Chat plan. The Advanced add-on adds page and device rules, proactive messages, signed-in visitors and more analytics. See Website Chat and the setup guide.
