Do I need an existing Meta Business account?+
You need a Facebook Business Account (free, takes five minutes to create if you do not have one). Lynkist is registered with Meta as a WhatsApp Technology Provider and routes through a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, so you never need to apply to Meta as a partner yourself.
How long does setup take end-to-end?+
For teams with a verified Facebook Business, end-to-end setup including the first sent message typically takes under an hour. Teams that need business verification first should plan for 2–5 additional business days for Meta to review documents.
How is pricing structured?+
Lynkist charges a flat monthly plan, and each tier includes a set number of seats rather than billing per seat. WhatsApp itself charges per conversation, which we pass through at Meta’s rate with 0% markup, drawn from a prepaid wallet. See the Pricing page for current details.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?+
Yes, as long as the number is not currently active on the consumer WhatsApp app or the WhatsApp Business app. If it is, you delete the existing WhatsApp account from the device, then the number is free to register on the Business API.
Is there an API?+
Yes. Contacts, templates, messages, media, campaigns and webhook endpoints are all available over REST, with signed webhook payloads across 24 event types, a fixed retry curve and a replayable delivery log.
