Install on any website (HTML)

Add Lynkist Website Chat to a plain HTML website with one line of code.

  1. In Lynkist, open Channels → Website Chat, open your widget and go to the Install tab. Click Copy snippet. It looks like this:

    <script async src="https://chat.lynkist.io/w/v1/loader.js" data-widget="wk_…"></script>

  2. Paste it just before </body> on every page where the chat should show. If your site has a shared footer or template file, paste it there once.

  3. Upload the changed files and open your site. The chat button shows in the corner.

Nothing shows? Check that the widget is published, and that your domain is in Security → Allowed websites. Then use Check my site on the Install tab.

Content-Security-Policy. If your site sends a CSP header, add https://chat.lynkist.io to script-src and frame-src.
