With more than one WhatsApp number, you had to switch accounts to see each number's chats. And the inbox refreshed every few seconds, so a new message could take a moment to appear.

One inbox

Chats from all your WhatsApp numbers are now in one list. Each chat shows which number it is on, and the All accounts filter shows one number at a time when you want that. A reply always goes out from the number the customer wrote to.

Live

New messages and their ticks appear at once, in the list and in the open chat.
The notification bell updates at once, in every open tab.
When a teammate is writing a reply, you see "… is replying" above the box, so two people do not answer the same customer.
An optional sound plays for new messages. Turn it on, and test it, in Settings → Notifications.

Online or Away

Choose Online or Away in your user menu at the top right. You count as online only while the dashboard is open, so a closed tab never says someone is available.

A new Channels page

Your WhatsApp numbers and their settings moved from Settings to the new Channels page in the sidebar. Settings keeps the settings for your account. Read more in the shared inbox guide.
