You've been able to delete your account yourself since July. Now you can take a copy with you first. Settings → Account → Export account data builds an archive of everything in your workspace and emails you when it's ready.

What you get

A single ZIP of UTF-8 CSV files — contacts, groups, notes and custom fields; conversations and your full message history; campaigns, templates and flows; QR codes and catalog; AI agent settings and knowledge sources; webhook endpoints and their delivery log; your team, roles and pending invites; and your invoices.

Timestamps are ISO 8601 in UTC and structured columns hold JSON, so it opens in Excel, Sheets or pandas without any conversion work.

It tells you what it left out

Every archive contains a manifest.json listing row counts, any redacted columns, and every table we deliberately excluded along with the reason. No guessing about whether something is missing or simply empty.

What's excluded is credentials (WhatsApp access tokens, API key secrets, webhook signing secrets, two-factor secrets — these never leave our database), media files themselves (indexed rather than bundled, since attachments run to gigabytes), and platform reference data that isn't yours.

Available on every plan

Bulk contact export is a paid-plan feature; this isn't. Getting a copy of your own data is a right, not an upgrade — so it works on Free too, and it keeps working after you've scheduled the account for deletion, right up until the grace period ends.

Archives stay downloadable for 7 days and are then permanently deleted from our servers. You can request one export per day. See Team & Settings for the full contents of the bundle.
